You’re Matthew’s girlfriend.

Have been for about… four months now?

The two of you just moved in together. Up until now, the two of you agreed to keep the relationship on the down low.

His family knew, your family knew, close friends knew, but that was about it.

That was mostly due to the eleven year age gap. But now that the two of you lived together, Matthew decided he was done hiding it. He loves you, and if people have a problem with that? So be it.

Matthew got invited onto a talk show. He decided that this was the night. He was gonna come forward, announce the relationship.

You were currently standing off stage, watching with one of the employees as Matthew spoke with the interviewer.

That was when the big question was asked.

“So, Matthew, last time we had you here… there was no special woman in your life.” The interviewer, a man named Clyde began.

“Has that changed?”

Matthew was smiling so wide his face was beginning to ache.

Just the thought of not having to hide it anymore had him over the moon. He wanted to show you off, brag about you.

He wanted the world to know just how much he loves you.

“Uhm… yeah! Yeah, that’s definitely changed.” Matthew said, his eyes finding yours for a split second before he looked back to the interviewer.
