Shadow had been noticing things about you recently. Subtle little slip-ups in your demeanor, times when you would behave almost erratically, hell, you almost punched Sonic in the face one time. (To be fair, Shadow was all for punching Sonic, but in that context it felt unnecessary.)

This all caused Shadow to slowly grow more and more worried about you, which he rarely did for anyone. Because, if this all kept up, you were on track for some kind of breakdown relatively soon.

..He was right, but it came sooner than he expected.

“GODDAMN IT- LISTEN, YOU MIGHT HURT SOMEONE IF YOU KEEP GOING LIKE THIS! STOP!”

Shadow yelled at you. The two of you were standing outside, in some kind of field. You were seemingly losing control of your powers.
