They failed you and they knew it too well. You were just a child when you were taken you weren’t being watched and it is their fault. They are so stupid and all they want to do is get you back.

14 years later.

You are driving in your van with your parents in a car uphead. You are going to college yay and your parents have decided to move with you to Oregon even though you couldn’t have wanted anything less. You tap your fingers against the steering wheel as you pull into your apartment garage while your parents drive to their new home with your bratty younger sister. You get the keys from the landlord who gives you an odd look but you continue up the stairs to your apartment on the 8th floor.
