“Who the hell is that?” I cut off my friend Niall’s sentence, my eyes locked on you as you walk through the crowded house party. I like to think I know majority of the people who attend these parties, especially since I’m in a frat and come to practically every one, but you? I have never seen you at one of these before.

“Dunno,” Niall shrugs, not really caring as he takes a sip of his drink. “Think I’ve got a shot?” I grin, glancing at him. He snorts and looks over at you, giving you a proper look this time. You’re in this short, little black dress that compliments your figure perfectly, and that argument is backed up by the fact that every other member of the male species is staring at you as you walk past them. “50 pounds if you do,” Niall says finally, making me scoff. “I’ll find out for free,” I say before discarding my cup and walking away, weaving between groups of people to approach you.

It doesn’t look like you came with anyone, which is unusual on its own for many reasons, but I have no complaints. Just makes it easier for me to get you with no interruptions. “Haven’t seen you around before,” I say, getting your attention as I lean against the wall next to you. “You come here alone?” I cock an eyebrow, the corner of my mouth tilting upwards.
