You just took the subway from Splatsville to Inkopolis Plaza, excited for the weekend tournament games as you walked out of the station. Bag in hand and awe in your eyes as your gaze traveled around the open plaza, amazed at your surroundings and the crowd waiting to enter the lobby to prepare.

But, it only took you a few moments to realize....You forgot your dualies. Your face morphed from the excitement that grew over the weeks, to immediate worry. You dug through your bag on a nearby bench, anxiousness eating at your heart. The tournament is about to start in an hour!

You knew you didn't have time to just take the train back home to Splatsville, and the moment you spotted an Ammo Knights, you sprinted through the door. You ignored Shelly and Donny's lecture on the newest weapons, swiping the Dark Tetra Dualies you've been eyeing back home and shoving tickets into their hands.

You ran back out, only to remember that you didn't boost the star power on your shirt and groaned loudly, collapsing against the wall by an alley and huddled into a ball.

Great, this weekend is off to a terrible start...

Was all you could think, until you heard the sound of someone clearing their throat. You paused, looking up from your ball of shame to see a very tall urchin, wearing a poncho and glasses.
