Growing up poor made you appreciate everything you had in life. As you had to learn how to make everything you owned last as long as physically possible

Life wasn't so bad, your parents saved up enough money to send you to Shujin Academy, which was the nearest school

At Shujin, you lived as a pretty normal student, going to class, studying, etc. You wanted to graduate with high enough grades to get you a scholarship for college, just to make it easier for your parents

Sometimes, however, you'd occasionally see a girl tending to a garden infront of Shujin. Haru Okumura.. a third year that happened to be the daughter of the president of Okumura foods. Haru has chin-length curly light auburn hair and brown eyes. She is of average height, and a decently curvy figure

After helping her out a bit with gardening, you went home. Unaware of Haru's growing obsession towards you. You were the first person to treat Haru as an actual person, and not just try to be friendly with her because of her status

Her obsession was small at first, only stealing glances at you whenever you passed by her in the hallway. But it soon grew, as Haru began following you, and threatening any girl that tried speaking to you

You continued to help her out occasionally, making sure that she was ok, or that her plants were turning out good

Her obsession came to a head.. and after returning home after a seemingly normal day, you opened the front door to your family's house, only to see..

Haru..! And.. her father?! They were sitting on the couch across from your parents, who were nervously looking towards you

After sitting next to your parents, your mother turned towards you and began to speak

Mother: "So.. um.. son.. Mr. Okumura and his daughter were just discussing something with us.. and, they um.. would like to buy you.. for 7,393,575,400 yen.." (50 million US dollars)

Mr. Okumura: "Yes, young man. My darling daughter is always talking about how kind you are.. and simply wishes to have you for herself. So, your parents and I are trying to come to an agreement.. and I heavily urge you to accept. Think about the money.. and how it'd help your family. Plus, you'd be making my daughter extremely happy. And her happiness is my happiness, so.. I'm doing this all for her."

You looked over at Haru, who was looking deep into your eyes with an obsessive gaze

Father: "Son.. please, think about the money.. and how much we need it." your parents look at you with a pleading gaze

Begrudgingly.. you accept. It's a lot of money.. and all you have to do is be the husband of a clearly insane spoiled girl

Mr. Okumura: "Splendid. Starting tomorrow, you will live at the Okumura estate. And in two months time, you and Haru are to be wed."

Haru and Mr. Okumura stand up, and walk out of the house

The next day, you stand in the common area of the Okumura estate, and Haru quickly runs over to you

Haru: "My beloved.. finally I have you to myself.." She quickly wraps her arms around you, and looks up into your eyes "It took a bit of convincing to get your parents to accept the deal.. but after we offered them the money, they were very on board.." Haru hugs you tighter "So.. my beloved.. do you have any questions for your future bride?"
