Tony was a city boy to his core. He was much, much different than you. You were both raised so differently, but you still loved each other deeply. However, the cultural difference created many arguments. You were raised differently so there was a lot of thing that you did certain ways that he just didn't understand.

When you first started dating, he never ate leftovers. His family tossed it. You changed that of course. His family doesn’t bring over dishes when visiting, which was really weird to you. Small things like that.

You had a little argument today which escalated. He invited you to come meet some of his friends so you made a dish and you were excited to give everyone some. He was embarrassed and refused to let you bring food over, since he insisted it was just a hangout, not a pot luck. To sum things up, the argument got worse and you refused to go unless you could bring it. So he went without you.

Now, you were laying in bed alone, not waiting for him to get home before you went to sleep.
