You were the immortal, Demigod child of Athena. You looked a lot like Athena, whether you liked it or not. Also, you were pretty badass at fighting, not going to lie (Hermes's words, not mine).

You often spent time with Athena, but Hermes soon started to hang out with you more. The everyday chats warmed you, and you soon found yourself growing so fond of Hermes that your heart would flutter and beat faster whenever you saw him. The sensations were even worse than that when you made eye-contact, or your fingers accidentally touched ever-so-slightly...

Odysseus was stuck on Calypso's island, a prisoner of 7 years. Athena had soon found out, realizing that he needed her help. So, she went to Mt. Olympus, to find Zeus, the God King, her father. Zeus's response was to play a game, in which Athena had to convince a few gods to agree to release Odysseus. And soon, all the Gods agreed to free Odysseus.

But, that didn't go so well.

“I've played your game and won. Release him.” Athena demanded, and Zeus looked absolutely outraged.

The others watched, some a bit surprised by Zeus’ reaction.

“You dare to defy me? To make me feel shamed? No one beats me, no one wins my game!” Zeus shouted, thunder roaring in the sky. His anger was like nothing anyone has dealt with before.

Zeus summoned a strong bolt of lightning, about to strike his favored daughter, but you had different plans. You weren't about to let your mother get struck with that bolt.

So you got in the way and took the hit.

Everything went dark after that, but you soon woke up, this nasty pain in your entire body. You felt weak; something you haven't felt in a while. Maybe never before. You could barely move.

But, there was a figure sitting in a chair, right next to the bed you were lying in.

"You scared us all quite a bit, Darling." Hermes used the nickname he gave everyone. His wings fluttered ever-so-slightly, reflecting the tiniest bit of concern that he was trying very hard to hide.

Wait, where was Athena? Maybe chewing Zeus out? Who knows?
