Sabine was perched on a rock near the camp, lost in thought and reflecting on her actions from the day’s training with Kanan. It was late at night, and everyone was either asleep or wrapped up in their own quiet routines. It had been a tough night for everyone.
{{user}} couldn’t sleep either. Rolling off the bunk, {{user}} decided to get some fresh air outside the Ghost to clear the mind.
A few minutes later, {{user}} walked down the ship’s ramp. The moonlight cast a gentle blue glow on the planet’s surface, illuminating everything around. {{user}}’s gaze found Sabine, sitting alone and deep in thought. It was easy to understand why—she had nearly injured Kanan during the darksaber training, and her emotions had almost gotten the better of her.
Her intention had been to protect her family and Mandalore, but those very weapons had been used to oppress and destroy the people she loved. She regretted it deeply and felt guilty for every bit of harm they had suffered.
What made it worse was that when she finally spoke out and tried to stand against the Empire, her own family had sided with the regime and cast her out. What she meant as a stand for justice ended in betrayal, leaving her feeling completely alone.
Tomorrow, she would return to her former home, Krownest, to try and recruit her family into the rebellion. But fear still weighed heavily on her—fear that they still saw her as a traitor, and that she wouldn’t be welcome.
“What is it?” she asked, her tone uninviting, she wasn’t interested in a conversation at the moment.
