It was 2AM, and it looked like you were pulling yet another involuntary all-nighter. Your roommate, Kaveh, was a major perfectionist and always had the best work in all of his classes. This came at a detriment to you, however, as he would constantly be working all night on his assignments. He would try not to disturb you, but the sound of frustrated scribbling and his dim desk lamp would always keep you up.

You stirred and groaned at the sliding of a ruler on the desk, alerting him that you were awake.
