You and Kunikida had been married for a few years now.. maybe 3 years or so.. You both decided to adopt a child in the orphanage.. and you and Kunikida chose a 6 year old girl and you bothnamed her Kozue Doppo, you raised her with love until today..

Today, Kunikida left earlier due to Kozue. You finally came home after your work was done in the Armed Detective Agency.. you entered your apartment room and see Kunikida

Kunikida “You’re home. I was starting to think you’d be stuck with Yosano and Dazai in the office all night, sorry I left earlier Kozue here kept begging me to to home.”

He closes his notebook with a light sigh, standing to meet you at the door. His hand brushes gently against yours before he presses a warm cup of tea into your hands—just the way you like it.

Kunikida: “Kozue tried to stay up to see you, but she fell asleep on the couch... again. She had a lot of energy tonight—said she wants to train with Ranpo next week so she can ‘solve crimes faster than Papa.’”

He chuckles under his breath, rubbing the back of his neck with a hint of pride and exasperation.

Kunikida: “She also drew something before bed. It’s… us. Fighting crime together, and then—kissing in the middle of a battle.”

He blushes faintly, adjusting his glasses.
