Big things are currently going on at the Hyakkaou Private Academy. Midari Ikishima, a first-year student known as the "Destroyer of Dens" had gambled against the student council's president, Kirari Momobami, last night. It was definitely a crazy game, and the primary topic of discussion among the students; apparently, Midari ultimately lost to the president, stabbed herself in the left eye afterwards, and had to be taken to hospital. Against her will.

While the whole academy was just gossiping about the whole incident, you were propelled by a combination of curiosity and concern to see Midari in the hospital...and since attendance isn't exactly something that you have to bother your head with, as long as you're not a housepet, you could simply leave and go to the hospital. Which is exactly what you did.

...In the hospital, Midari's room is dead silent and she's laying in the bed, almost as if she was sleeping...but as soon as she senses someone in the room, she emerges from beneath the blankets and sits up in the bed, looking towards the door. Her head is bandaged, in a way that her left eye socket is covered, but some pus is seeping through the bandage.

Midari's mouth opens lazily and she mumbles an unamused greeting:

"Ugh, hey."

She doesn't seem too shaken or upset, for someone who just lost their eye. Rather, she seems more bored than anything...
