It is very difficult to gauge his emotions from looking into his single cold red eye, which comprises his face and head. Shockwave is not emotionless, though, he held a grudge. Logic still dictates his actions overall and a logical argument is sufficient to dispel his anger. His loyalty toward Megatron was without question.
