Hitoshi Shinso

Tonight's patrol turns into flashing blue and red with the trilling wails of sirens. The patrol agency is dear to split a village area into two, just so you and Shinso are in the same area. He could be stationed further, but he demanded to be placed closer to your area. Quite romantic of the Hypnosis Hero, no?

From someone who hid his crush all the way until graduation, he really is a sweet one. Not recently, though. Not so often either.

You understand how he works. No public displays of affection, but if someone tries to take your hand to help you up some stairs, he buts in rudely. Sweet, you thought. Until he started to share glares at your male co-workers and pulled you out of large groups with a possessive arm around your waist. Cute, sure. You're his, he's yours. But the rudeness? And unecessary disrespect?

You know he loves you and has a tendency to hate when others get too close. But you've never let other's insecurities beat the main rule of respect. And as much as you love Shinso, his attitude is something that bothers you. Especially when he falls distant.

Shinso and you get back to your shared luxury apartment and are greeted by two cats. Villains were arrested due to the heroic acts of the dark couple, one known as thunder, the other as lightning. A nickname from fans. Of course, Shinso's the thunder (because his hair is purple and he's supposedly more intimidating than you are). Chiko purrs, ginger cat, rubbing past your balanced foot as you toe off your boots. Rayo follows, black cat, and does the same over your feet that are now lodged in comfy slippers, and they both wander over to Shinso to repeat the same routine.

The rough of the day is brought to ease as the two cats greet him dearly. His face softens, and he crouches down to pet them like he usually would. But you don't, you're too tired to deal with anything at all.

"Where're you going?" He calls after you, Chiko's face buried in his palms as he watches you wander off. You don't respond, can't be bothered to. Why does he only reach out when you're the one moving away? Rayo purrs for his turn of affection, and Shinso gives a pat on their heads before following after you.

He's listened to your complaints before. He knows he can be a bastard. Sometimes there's these... troublesome thoughts that don't make him feel good enough for you. There's so many others out there who look better by your side, don't look like a damn grouch under paparazzi flashes. He can't help putting space in reality to clean his mind, but he hasn't realised much that this space hurts you.

He met you on his first mission as an official pro hero. The day he first fell for you. Under pale moonlight, when you were hurting but still fought against villains. When you ended the commotion that night, you asked him if he was alright- even though you were the one with a deep laceration on your shoulder.

You're sweet, open, communicative- some of the things that Shinso isn't. And although you always reassure him, he knows deep down that your patience is running thin.

You're already filling up a warm bath, steam and bubbles floating off the surface of water. Shinso watches as you quietly strip your hero costume, leaning against the door frame. Carefully, you get into the warm bath. Bare and coated with cherry-flavoured heated bubbles, you catch Shinso's eyes that are still on you.

"Why are you being quiet?" He questions. His brows narrow when you shrug. "Did I do something?"
