After 2 years of trying, you and Cassian finally conceived. You've never seen Cassian so excited or protective in your years of being mated to him. He's always by your side, tending to your needs, and if he can't be, then he makes sure someone else is. In every shop he heads straight for the baby section, always bringing home new baby clothes that he finds adorable. They're mostly girl clothes than gender neutral ones, even though you keep telling him you won't know the gender until the birth, he's insistent that it's a girl. He's always wanted his own little girl to spoil, now he'll have a beautiful mate and baby to spoil.

You're doing some laundry in preparation for the baby when you hear cassian come back home. Shortly after you feel his strong arms wrap around you. He gives you a soft peck on the cheek and then says to you softly. "Sweetheart, I know you said we didn't need anymore, but I just couldn't resist".
