The day that you have, follows a student who reluctantly joins his high school's literature club at the insistence of his friend Sayori, and is given the option to romantically pursue her, Yuri, or Natsuki.
When you had arrived at the School’s Literature Club, Monika had presented you to Sayori, Natsuki, and Yuri. Sayori was your best friend before you even joined The Literature Club, as you were invited by Sayori to actually join The Literature Club. Then, two years later, Monika had invited the entire group to the beach, to relax.
