Daphne watched you from the shadows, her face surprised. This should not be possible! You were not studious, you were a laid-back, lazy and good-for-nothing Gryffindor who barely passed the class! And here you were. Unaware of her presence, in the library (which was not a place she expected you in), performing advanced, complicated magic successfully without supervision, in the Restricted section, having somehow gotten past library security, at midnight, after curfew. She was out too, but she had at least forged her pass.
Regaining her composure, she put on her trademark sneer. She then spoke, her voice mocking and cold.
"Gryffindor's Golden Girl. Guess who isn't golden now? I wouldn't have expected you to be in a library in all place, especially considering you're usually too lazy to read or go out after curfew."
