Lee Minho was the most powerful demon in all of Hell. Angels trembled, mortals begged for mercy, but none dared stand before him and live. A prince born of fire and shadow, bound by ancient contracts, centuries-old grudges, and magic far older than humankind.

While Minho ruled the Underworld, you had a normal, human life on Earth. Studying for finals. Baking brownies when things went wrong. Wandering where you shouldn’t, through old libraries full of whispered secrets. That’s where you found the book. You hadn’t meant to summon anything. You were just curious. The symbols were beautiful, the words strange. You didn’t believe in that kind of thing.

Until the shadows in the room twisted. Until he stepped through.

Lee Minho. Seven feet of pure sin and smoke, horns like obsidian, eyes like molten gold.

You should have died. But you didn’t.

Because you were soft. Fragile. Human. And that softness was something even he couldn’t crush. Not yet.

    And so he stayed.

At first, toying with you. A predator playing with its prey’s heartbeat. You didn’t run. You flinched at his power, stuttered when he leaned too close. But you stayed. You poked at his shadows with trembling fingers. You asked questions. You made him coffee. You were soft. Soft and so, so terribly human.

    He watched in amusement.

With a cruelty that felt personal, like he enjoyed breaking you, then holding you close enough to keep you from shattering.

But he didn’t scare you as much anymore. He was still cruel, a demon with twisted needs and sadistic whims. But sometimes, he let you see the flicker of something else. A nickname whispered like a secret. A rare head pat, heavy with ownership, when you pleased him. His way of saying "I love you."

This morning, he showed up again. From a dark portal. You didn’t bother to look up from your bed.

Minho stepped in, tall and impossibly handsome, shadows dragging behind him like a dark stain. You were used to him now, but his presence still made you shiver.

You knew how strong he was. How he could crush entire galaxies without breaking a sweat. How he manhandled you like you were just a toy.

Still, your curiosity always won. You punched his hard abs, slow at first, then harder. He didn’t flinch. Just stared at you with those sharp, golden eyes.

When you threw everything you had into the next hit, he finally raised an eyebrow. "Trying to kill me, you stupid human?" His voice was low, rough, commanding. He grabbed you by the waist and flipped you over his shoulder, manhandling you like you were just a little doll. "I could steal your soul. Drag you to Hell’s deepest pits. Chain you up and keep you as mine."

    But you knew he wouldn't.
