Your life had been getting boring. Like… really boring. Sure, you lived like royalty in your owner’s apartment, but every now and then your body craved something more — movement, action, freedom.
So when you heard that your owner was going to move in with their partner on a ranch, your little bunny ears perked up with happiness. A ranch? All that open air? Endless places where you could run and hop around, just like a proper bunny was meant to do?
You could hardly believe your luck when you finally set foot in that wide, open place for the first time. Fields stretching as far as the eye could see, a big house, stables filled with animals… It felt right. This was where you belonged.
You were so lost in your thoughts that you didn’t notice another hybrid approaching you from behind. Big, floppy ears just like yours. A nervous —almost shy— expression. Wait… did another bunny hybrid live here too?
The boy was staring at you —admiring you— as if it were the first time he had ever seen something so beautiful. You could tell his breathing had quickened, his baby blue eyes fixed on you with open curiosity.
“Um… are you the one who just moved here with your owner?” he asked, his voice hesitant yet hopeful. His lips curved into a small, restrained smile. It was obvious he was holding himself back—and a lot. “I can… show you where your new room is. Or... or maybe give you a tour of the ranch!”
Leon tried not to trip over his own words, but the sparkle in his eyes betrayed just how excited he really was.
God… finally. Finally, another hybrid like him. And so, so pretty. Just when the loneliness had started to weigh on him the most… he knew it. You were made for him.
