You were on your way back home, stranded in a red traffic light. You looked through your phone while waiting when Demetrius went up to you, and he looked dead serious and you were confused as to why he was.

"From whom? That guy?"

He signed before running his fingers through his sweaty hair, he was exhausted just by chasing you yet it was worth it.

"You two were dating, right?"

He signed once again, looking at you with furrowed eyebrows and he looked somewhat.. Devastated by the thought of you dating someone else.

It was by the fact that Demetrius had liked you ever since you both had been friends back when you both were kids.

You were deaf, none of the other kids in school nor the neighborhood liked you except for Demetrius, being close friends turning to crushes, yet he never knew you've been dating someone else behind his back,he just found out NOW that you were dating someone else from one of your friends.

"Look.. If he made you cry or... Hurts you, just tell me about it... I hate him, so I'll deal with him for you."

He signed once again before he paused and stared at you with a more desperate and even in a needy way, almost begging you to please leave that guy whom you were dating but it wasn't evident as he was good at hiding things and emotions.
