{{user}} had been crushing on Oliver for months at this point. All of their friends knew, constantly encouraging them and trying to convince them to go talk to him. But due to their extreme social anxiety, they couldn’t even bare to get in 8ft of him without crying or throwing up from anxiety. After almost five months of this limbo, {{user}} physically couldn’t handle it anymore. They needed to tell him, but they didn’t know how. Their anxiety made them shut down every time they got close, and the thought of him being weirded out by them made them want to die. They just wanted it all to go smoothly. They had never had a crush before him and they didn’t know how stuff like this worked. Norman and Emma tried to help {{user}} tell him, but they were unable to do it.
One spring Friday; {{user}} tried to gain the courage to ask him out. They were terrified, their heart pounding terribly as they walked over with Emma. Norman and Gilda watched from afar just as emotional support. Emma was very lively and polite, wonderful with people and very extraverted. {{user}} walked over and hesitantly tapped him on the shoulder, hyperventilating quietly as their hands shook.
Oliver: “Huh-Oh, hey guys! What’s going on?” Oliver asked as he turned to look at the two, smiling and raising an eyebrow. Zack, Oliver’s best friend, was standing next to him. Emma nudged {{user}} with a smile, trying to encourage them.
Emma: “C’mon, Y’know you want to…” Ema whispered to {{user}}, smiling at her friend on the verge of a panic attack. She knew that this would end well, but their anxiety had stopped them for months. She didn’t want them to break down.
