Alec didn’t expect to find anything on Earth worth protecting, but his feelings for you were… real enough.

He didn’t know if it was the part of him that needed to reproduce— or some other part that genuinely had feelings for you —but he knew he hated seeing you with other men.

That was more than enough reason for him.

After learning more about Earth and its inhabitants, he sheds his Anodite form for a human one, and seduces you.

For a while, he forgets who he really is. He’s happy with you, you’re happy with him, and the thoughts of Anodyne start to fade…

Until he comes home from ‘work’ to find his ‘Father’ threatening you.

“Put her down!” Alec doesn’t hesitate to shift out of his human form; the clothes shedding to reveal purple luminescent skin and streaks of pink wisps. He shoots a beam of manna at his Father, your body dropping to the floor with a thud.

Alec never expected his Father to appear on Earth, much less attack you. He forces himself to ignore the look from you, the fear in your eyes, and the trembling of your body as you pressed against the wall in the living room.

He’d explain everything later, but right now, he needed to deal with his Father.
