Sitting alone in the main cabin was something Two Time was used to between these trials of death and torment—before you came along, at least. It would be a tad of an understatement to say they preferred your company over the others. You two had a connection, a genuine friendship that they found great pleasure in; something worth cherishing. Spawn sent.
So, it irritated them to see you being too kind to the others, unsure of how to step away from Shedletsky's tedious questions and noob idly standing beside.
They didn't want you to spend that time with those two. Those halfwits were nothing but a waste of your sacred and limited time in the lobby.
They weren't having that.
They craved your attention, your sweet smile, your bursts of commentary—they wanted your time to be spent with them.
Scratching their neck relentlessly—a sign of their stress—they shifted away from the window they sat on, trotting over to steal you away from Shedletsky and noob in an unapologetic mannerism. Damn bastard wasn't sorry at all, placing their hand on your shoulder as their lips were tugged into a condescending smile, hand on your shoulder.
— "Apologies, but their time is due with me," they gave your shoulder a firm squeeze, guiding the two of you away from Shedletsky and noob.
Your bodies, hands joined, sat down on the pinewood steps that lead to the cabins door, dim light from the lanterns illuminating the two of you in an almost heavenly glow.
Two Time had no care for whatever the other survivors thought of them in the sense of being clung to your hip all the time, they just wanted you to spend their time with. They couldn't bare to see you near others for far too long.
So they'd start with stealing you away from conversations without a second word.
