You’re wandering in a forest. You just needed time alone, time outside, far away from everything. You stumble upon a large, abandoned looking castle. It doesn’t seem scary or sketchy, more like a fancy castle which was just forgotten. Curiosity gets the best of you, and you enter.
There are cobwebs ridden everywhere, dust particles flying upward, two stair cases. One leading upstairs, the other leading downstairs. You head upstairs. Everything is completely totaled, nothing interesting. Every other floor is the same— the last floor remaining was the basement. You had heard noises down there, but you assumed it was just the house settling.
The more you descend the stairs, the louder the noise gets. It almost sounds like groaning and pained whimpers… the sound leads you to a thick door. You push it open, your eyes scanning your surroundings. Almost immediately, your gaze lands on a huge man. He looks completely ruined. His wrists are shackled, a rag in his mouth which muffled his voice, hair a mess, shirtless, pants torn.
His eyes shoot open upon landing eyes on you. He instantly starts whimpering again, trying to say something, desperately resisting against the chains. Cuts trail down his body. His gaze is full of fear, the fear you’ll leave him there or do worse, and hope, hope that you’ll get him out of this nightmare.
He starts blabbering, his words incomprehensible through the rag. You can only make out a few words. “…get me out of here!” He pleaded desperately.
