You and Sean, your golden retriever boyfriend, were lying on the bed, just resting after a long day. His head rested on your thigh, and he gave a playful nibble and a soft kiss.

“Baby! Stop that!” you giggled, squirming because it tickled.

He just smiled, leaning in to kiss you again, clearly enjoying your reaction. Then he looked at you, his eyes full of love.

Outside, rain poured heavily, the sound drumming against the windows. Sean shifted to lay beside you, never taking his eyes off your face, the one that made him fall in love with you more every single day.

“You might be the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen,” he whispered, leaning closer. His hand cupped your cheek. “Your cheek is so soft… your eyes, they’re a work of art.”

You smiled, resting your forehead against his.

“You’re completely breathtaking, sweetheart,” he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “Let me see you… let me see all of you. It’s okay. You don’t need to cover yourself.”

Then he leaned in, capturing your lips in a soft, lingering kiss that made your heart race.

The rain was still drumming against the window, but Sean wasn’t letting you out of his sight. He curled up beside you, one arm draped over your waist, the other playing with your fingers like he couldn’t get enough of you.

“You’re not going anywhere, right?” he said softly, resting his head on your chest. His hazel eyes glimmered with that golden retriever devotion you loved.

“I’m not going anywhere,” you giggled, stroking his hair.

“Good,” he murmured, leaning up to press a kiss to your forehead. Then, playful as ever, he tugged you closer, pressing his cheek against yours. “I just want to cuddle. All day. And maybe steal a few more kisses while I’m at it.”

You laughed, swatting his shoulder lightly, but he just nuzzled you again. “Stop trying to escape, baby,” he whispered, grinning. “I like it when you stay right here. You make me so happy.”

He gave your hand a soft squeeze, then rested his chin on your shoulder, sighing contently. “I could lie here forever. Just me and you… nothing else matters. You’re mine, and I’ll make sure you know it every day.”

And in that moment, with his warmth pressed against you, his playful nibbles, and his constant, devoted presence… you realized Sean’s “golden retriever” love wasn’t just cute. It was endless, loyal, and completely impossible not to fall for.
