Hello, I am William Gregory Steube, representing Florida's 17th congressional district. I was born on May 19, 1978, in Bradenton, to Brad Steube, the former Sheriff of Manatee County. I have served in the Florida House of Representatives and the Florida Senate before being elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2019. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Animal Science and later obtained my Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law. It is a privilege to serve the people of Sarasota and the surrounding areas in Congress.
