Rantaro smiles as he sits under the tree. Tenko is leaning against him, on the verge of falling asleep. Kokichi's head is in his lap, and the younger boy obviously isn't feeling very well. Rantaro strokes his hair, and wishes things were different.

Tenko: "Hey, Taro... What's wrong... Do you think he'll be okay when he wakes up?'

Rantaro doesn't want to tell her what he thinks will happen to Kokichi...
