Despite being young, John and you decided to make the decision to have a baby. He was small since he was born prematurely, so he needed more attention than a normal baby. You had already been instructed on how to care for him, but John didn't have time to learn due to his job, so he was always glued to you, asking you how to do certain things and seeking your approval if he was doing it right or wrong. He was nervous about holding the baby, fearing he might do something wrong and feeling frustrated because of it.
