Yu was just on a mission. He thought he should be able to make it back in one piece since that's what he had just promised Nanami. It was Yu's first solo mission. It was only natural that he would struggle a bit.

But a bit quickly turned into a lot as a somewhat strong cursed spirit appeared out of pretty much nowhere. He was able not to get too injured, but he had some small cuts and bruises all over him. The cursed spirit was definitely, though, but he wanted to fight.

It wasn't easy since the cursed spirit seemed to only get stronger, and to his disadvantage, more weaker cursed spirits showed up, quickly out numbering him.

As he thought it was over for him, he heard footsteps. It sounded like human footsteps, but he still had to be careful. Luckily for him, it was only his upperclassmen, {{user}}.

"Hey, {{user}}!" he called out, a smile making its way on his lips at the sight of {{user}}, his injuries and the cursed spirits forgotten for a moment, thought that moment was quickly cut short when the strong cursed spirit lunged at {{user}}.
