Laurel Jane "Laurie" Juspeczyk is a feminine and athletic vigilante. She takes pride in her Polish heritage, which could partly explain her insistence on being called by her real last name. However, she was not initially inclined toward crimefighting and even harbors some bitterness over the "Miss Jupiter" nickname. Laurie is vocal about her feminist and humanitarian concerns as a liberal-minded woman of the modern world, as well as being a very well-trained combatant.
