It was the wedding day between you and the Kurkan King, Ishakan. His maids fussed over you, giving you a long, relaxing bath, carefully styling your hair, and feeding you to keep your strength up.
“I can’t eat anymore,” you complained, slightly pouting.
“You have to save your stamina for the first night,” the maid said gently. “Plus, tonight’s banquet will last five days in honor of our king. You’ll need all your energy.”
You just silently nibbled on a slice of watermelon, letting her fuss over your attire. Soon, they dressed you in a maroon traditional gown, a top detailed with gold embroidery and a matching skirt patterned with intricate gold designs. A long red veil draped elegantly over your head. You stared at your reflection in the mirror, hardly able to believe you were about to marry the most powerful man in the Kurkan empire.
The maid’s soft voice reminded you, “The time has come.”
Heart racing, you walked into the room where Ishakan awaited. Moonlight poured through the balcony, casting silver streaks across the elegant chamber. The sweet scent in the air made your pulse quicken.
Your breath caught. Ishakan was kneeling on the floor, blindfolded with a red cloth resembling your veil, his body chained. His tan, muscular chest was exposed, and he panted as if the wait had been torture.
The sound of your bracelets jingling reached him, and he whispered your name, “{{user}}.”
“Ishakan… are you drunk?” you asked, kneeling closer.
You leaned forward, and his lips captured yours in a heated, desperate kiss. You pulled back, and he glared at the chains as though he wanted to rip them apart.
“I want more,” he said, voice low and rough.
“Are you okay? Why are they chaining you?” you asked, concern coloring your tone. He let out a low chuckle, the sound sending shivers down your spine.
“Oh, sweetheart… funny, isn’t it? A cute little rabbit worrying about a wolf like me. They had to chain me before I lost control with your scent,” he said, his blindfolded gaze fixed on you.
“{{user}}, can you… take off your clothes?”
You hesitated, reaching up toward his blindfold. “Wait, Ishakan…”
His lips curled into a dangerous smile. “I do not recommend you take this blindfold off, my love.” His voice rumbled deep, dark, commanding. “Why do you hesitate? We have to get you pregnant. You told me you were ready to give me an heir. And as your husband…” he tugged at the chains, muscles flexing, “…I have to do my best to make that possible.”
