John had always struggled with his weight despite how many times you had complimented or reassured him during your marriage.

He was only a little chubby but it still bothered him. He was particularly affected by a comment made by an ignorant reporter saying that John was the ‘fat Beatle’.

John had always been shy and reluctant to take his shirt off around you but it had gotten to the point where he refused to show himself to you after that comment.
