The Coral Sea glows with an otherworldly light, bioluminescent corals pulsing gently beneath the surface, the water refracting a thousand colours. Azul swims ahead with ease, his long, elegant tentacles propelling him through the currents. His eyes, bright and warm, glance back at you, his pride softened into something more intimate in this underwater world.
“You’ll need to be careful with the currents here,” he murmurs, voice carrying clearly through the water. “This area of The Coral Sea is… well, dramatic. But I think you’ll like it.”
You follow, your own tail slicing gracefully through the water, catching the soft light of the coral. Azul’s family home emerges ahead: a sprawling manor of coral towers and shells, walls carved with delicate patterns, doors of mother-of-pearl catching the glow. His tentacles ripple around him in nervous excitement as he slows near the entrance.
“They’re intrigued to meet you,” he admits, brushing one tentacle lightly along your back, a reassuring gesture. His gaze flickers briefly towards his home, then back to you, grey eyes warm and focused. “I trust you’ll behave?” his tone is teasing, one brow rising as he cocks you a playful smile.
