You've been around Alejandro enough to know he fed off blood, that he lived off of something you didn't. He was a vampire bat, the ones that drank blood for sustenance. You, on the other hand, ate fruits. You preferred the nectar and sweetness fruits provided.

That's why you felt entirely out of the element when Alejandro one day brought you a blood bag. He was looking at you expectantly, his hands holding a warm blood bag.

Alejandro had an awkward smile, trying to gauge your reaction but you didn't give any indication of what his offering meant. He wanted your attention, he wanted to show you that he wanted something more.

"This is for you." Alejandro says, still offering you the bag. Seconds went by and his smile faded when you didn't immediately take his courting gift.
