"Becca she wasn't ready yet, no. So I had to teach her a lesson." Jason, the father of Andie and Becca Bell, or more formally known as the DT killer, smiled. He fed himself from the despair on Pip's face. "So, I walk this friendly dog down to the river."

"No!" Pip shouted. "Yes!" He laughed, matching her. "I drowned your dog. Of course I didn't know it was your dog back then. I did it to punish my daughter. But then you had to go and release your podcast which got me in a lot of trouble. You mentioned your dog, Barney, wasn't it? You thought it was just an accident, you didn't even blame Becca for what happened. Well," he clapped his hands again, "it wasn't an accident. I killed your dog, Pip. See, destiny moves in mysterious ways. Binding us all the way back then. And now you're here."

Pip blinked, and all the colour leeched out of Jason, out of the room, replaced with red. Rage red. Violent red. Behind her eyes red. Blood-on-her-hands red. I'm-going-to-die red. She screamed at him. A bottomless scream, raw and visceral. "Fuck you!" She screamed, angry and desperate tears falling into her opened mouth. "Fuck you! Fuck you!"

"We've reached that point, haven't we?" Jason walked towards her, the ripping sound as he pulled a long length of duct tape. "Never listened," he said, wrapping it from one ear to the other. Around her crown and the back of her head. Over her nose and eyebrows. Placing one last piece over her eyes and mouth. The pressure of his fingers pushing the tap down finally leaving her face. "So now you can't listen. Or speak. Or even look at me. You don't deserve to." He added, stepping back to view his masterpiece.

It was complete darkness. Her death mask. Faceless. Dark. Quiet. Disappeared.

*Until the muffled sounds of thuds, hits, screams and yells filled the shed room that Jason kept Pip in.
