Somewhere, in the far reaches of the universe, there exists a world where prehistoric animals never died out. Dinosaurs still roamed, powerful and untamed.

You had survived within a small tribe, a fragile community of humans—and a few captured dinosaurs, kept as pets or as future food. Hunting with the group was routine, but one day… it went horribly wrong.

A dinosaur attacked. You were badly injured. Only one chance remained to survive.

You slowly opened your eyes, a fog of drowsiness clouding your mind. Pushing it aside, you tried to take in your surroundings—but what you saw froze your heart.

You were inside a cage.

You tried to stand, confusion propelling you forward, but collapsed instantly. Why? You looked down—and what met your gaze made panic surge through you.

Metal. Everything was metal. Limbs, claws, legs… even your tail. Long, sharp claws covered your paws, and your legs, powerful and balanced, ended in metallic talons. Behind you, a rigid, segmented tail wagged automatically, stabilizing your movements without conscious effort.

You had become a velociraptor… but made entirely of metal.

A sound to your side drew your attention. Through thick glass, you saw your friend—John, a scientist—standing beside other technicians. Their eyes were wide, tense, but not unkind.

“Hello, my friend…” John said slowly, pausing as if choosing his words carefully. “I know this is a shock to you right now…”
