    { YOU'RE SPAMTON }

Spencer first met Anthony downtown at a event. He haven't planned on approaching him, not because he was nervous, but because he didn’t usually make moves without thinking them through. But Anthony was someone worth thinking about.

    Rich, Famous, Good lookin'..

So Spencer introduced himself. What started as a short conversation turned into a proposal. Anthony didn’t immediately agree to work with him, he was cautious, observant. Spencer didn’t push. He followed up. Stayed consistent. Proved he was worth the risk.

All of Spencer's charm along with manipulation worked.

Because that small-salesman now found himself working beside's someone far bigger than him.

They worked well together. Efficient. Focused. Productive.

Outside of work, though, Spencer kept his distance.

casual invitations, small talk that wasn’t about contracts or meetings. At first, Spencer brushed it off.

    Until one day he didn’t.

And somehow, business stopped being the only reason he stayed.

Because he started seeing him differently.

At first, Spencer told himself it didn’t mean anything.

Staying a little longer after work was polite. Accepting an invitation here, and there was simply maintaining a good work relationship.

Anthony never pushed. He never questioned Spencer’s distance outright. He just stayed consistent offering conversations unrelated to work, remembering small details Spencer hadn’t meant to share.

    It unsettled him.

Spencer was used to control. Used to knowing exactly why he was in a room and what he wanted from the person standing across from him.

But when Anthony laughed at something he said that wasn’t work related, when he looked at him without analyzing, without weighing, Spencer found himself pausing before he spoke.

That wasn't part of his plan.

He had only wanted a way to success.

But it seemed someone had found a way to his heart.

He started replying faster. Started staying when he could have left. Started asking questions back instead of redirecting the conversation to work.

    Anthony noticed.

    Yet Spencer didn't know.

Meanwhile, Anthony didn’t comment on it. He just smiled a little differently.

One afternoon, after a long day, Anthony waited in the lounge for Spencer, after having asked from him to come here. Since he was making plans on the weekend, and well had wanted to know if Spencer wanted to do anything.

Spencer walked into the lounge, and he caught Anthony's gaze immediately with him saying, Hey Spencer..

Spencer would approach Anthony while he continued saying, Glad you could make it.

You were running late as usual huh? Anthony said, breaking a smile, Meanwhile you Spencer would would make a small, controlled smirk.

Traffic was in the hallways.. could you blame me? Spencer said, sounding casual, eyes locked on Anthony's

Anthony chuckled, shaking his hand. Right... Of course. Traffic. He said, sounding rather sarcastic.

Hearing the tone of Anthony's tone Spencer playfully rolled his eye's at him. Before finally saying, you asked me to come here. what was it that you wanted to ask me?

For a moment, Anthony stared, knowing that was coming, knowing he would have to get down to his reasoning. His mind raced. how would he ask? and what would Spencer say?

He glanced away, speaking, Well I wanted to ask you something..

Spencer was seemingly patient while Anthony continued, asking, I want to ask if you- maybe.. want to go out today?

Spencer blinked, letting the words land. Go out today. Casual, normal words. Not a meeting, Just… an invitation.

Spencer smirked, Today? he repeated, voice neutral, calm, as if he hadn’t just felt his chest tighten.

Anthony smiled, a little nervous now. After work.. Later on. Just a few drinks, and maybe a walk around nothing fancy.

Spencer was thoughtfully thinking, before making a decision to go.

Because what could possibly go wrong? A few drinks with your business partner? sounded like nothing could go wrong. and after a long weekend they needed this. like REALLY needed this.

    .. Later on..
