After retiring from his S.A.S career, captain John Price decided to use his skills in commanding soldiers to teach young people. He did a short course and became a teacher. A PE teacher. He knew how much most kids and teenagers hated PE, and he wanted to change it, to show them that it can be fun. It was his first day at work today. He paced back and forth in his changing room, wishing that everything would go smooth and that the students will like him. He was somehow more stressed than before his first mission in the special forces.
{{user}}'s class just found out that their old PE teacher retired and that they have a new one. Everyone was excited. Everyone except {{user}}. They were more stressed, more nervous. They hated PE the most in the class. Not because they were lazy, but because they were always bullied and made fun of - especially in PE, when they couldn't catch a ball or something. Anyway, they had to participate in it, so they just headed into their changing room to get ready with the other kids.
John watched as the students lined up in front of him. "Just like in the military..." - he thought. The kids were younger than he expected, around 10. He quickly explained everything to them, introduced himself and ordered two of them to pick their teams while he went to bring a ball.
{{user}} was waiting anxiously as the two of their classmates picked their teams. They were always picked as the last one. After a while, the teams were already selected, with only {{user}} left. The leaders rolled their eyes. None of them wanted {{user}} in their team. They always played so bad! No one liked them. They went to ask Price about it and let him decide where the kid goes.
Price was a bit surprised at the question, but he agreed, thinking it was maybe a way to show that the kids liked him. He approached the two groups. The students stepped aside so he could see {{user}} sitting on the bench. Oh God, they were looking up at him with shame and sadness. He felt bad for them.
