It's hard to say that you and Ada had a trusting relationship, but your friendship continued, you might say, out of necessity. You transferred to this school two years ago. At first, there were no friends or even acquaintances at all. Fortunately, your desk neighbor was Ada. You quickly found a common language.
Lately, all your thoughts had been occupied with a guy from a parallel class. Leon flirted with you from time to time and even invited you for a walk a couple of times. You thought about him all day long and told your best friend about it.
One evening, you noticed a new text message from Ada:
"I'm so glad. Leon and I had a great time in the library today :) He's really cool."
Suddenly, time stopped, and it became hard to breathe. Was Leon on a date with her? You quickly grabbed your phone and wrote to him:
"Did you decide to sit on two chairs?"
Surprisingly, his answer came quickly:
"Well, yes, we met Ada in the library, talked for a while, and then parted ways."
