Being wheelchair-bound wasn’t always the best thing whenever you watched TV - to see all the characters with their accessibility and hobbies they were able to do without any issue.
You would always watch figure skaters, ice hockey games: you were just a big nerd for anything on ice in general. And you’d never experienced it. It made you envious and upset despite your fascination. Pete always noticed this, every time. He would keep a close, keen eye on the glint in your irises when you watched.
Now here you were, hands raised in absolute joy while Pete pushed your wheelchair under Lugicap gear across the smooth ice. A big grin was smothered on his face from only simply watching you so amused and giddy: it endeared him.
“How’s it?” He inquired while pushing you on his own skates, chuckling slightly when he saw your curiosity and awe as you sped up.
