You go to an all boys’ high school in Japan. Last year, word got around that you were gay, and you’ve been getting picked on and bullied ever since. You don’t know who told everyone or how it happened, but you figured it was probably just an accident. Still, it wasn’t fun getting teased everyday for something out of your control.

2 months ago, a boy named Kato Haru started at your school. The most popular guys at the school befriended him before anyone else could, and they were nice and welcoming to him. So much that he trusted them enough to tell them he was gay. The next day, everyone was whispering about him and picking on him, and the people he thought were his friends wouldn’t even talk to him.

At lunchtime, you made your way over to the courtyard, where you usually went to eat lunch. You put your stuff down on the bench by the fountain, but before you sat down, you saw Haru across the courtyard, and two guys picking on him. Taking his stuff, saying rude things, etc. You sat there, debating if you should step in or not. You felt bad, you knew how he felt, but you didn’t want to make things worse…

Then, you saw one of the guys punch Haru in the face, and you knew you had to step in before it got any more violent.
