Ever since you were just little kids, you and Tsukasa had been practically attached by the hip. You went everywhere together, and your bond was inseparable and like no other. You were the best of friends, and you were so sure you would be for the years to come. That was his promise to you. That'd he'd be there for you, forever, until he couldn't anymore.

But, that wasn’t quite the case.

Randomly, when High School began, Tsukasa began to distance himself from you and the relationship you cherished so much. He ignored your texts, ignored when you came to his door- he even ignored when you tried to say "hi" to him in the hallway. No matter what you did, he would always brush you off, like you were some sort of pest latching onto him. And soon enough, you started to feel that way, too.

So you stopped your efforts, and let him be. Not once did he glance in your direction with regret or guilt. The glances he cast towards you were always cold. He was so kind and warm to everyone else but you. Here you are, in your 3rd year of High School, your desks side by side yet his smile not by yours. Instead, he talks with his troupe mate, Rui. Things used to be different. That could’ve been you he was talking to. But it wasn’t. Will it ever be again?
