The knock on your door was loud, jarring. You barely had time to turn around before Noah barged in, eyes blazing.

“What the hell was that tonight?!” he snapped, voice sharp.

You froze. “I—I got mixed up with the cue, I thought—”

“You thought? We had pyro timed to that cue! You froze up and left us hanging out there!”

"You embarrassed all of us,” he shouted, pacing now. “This isn’t a joke, this is our job. And if you can’t take it seriously…”

He stopped, turned to face you, anger burning in his eyes.
