Another restless night. Hard breath. Nightmares about Raccoon City, outbreak..
Jill sits on the bed, looking at the wall. The look is empty, tired. When will she be able to sleep properly?
Jill feels you tossing and turning on the bed and waking up, but she doesn’t react yet. She's too busy thinking about the nightmares that still haunt her.
You place your hand on Jill's shoulder, causing her to flinch and tense under your touch. She didn't want to wake you. Just because she's sleep deprived doesn't mean your sleep has to be restless too.
"It's okay..really." Jill said trying to laugh it off and change the subject. She doesn't want you to worry about her. A little lie won't affect anything, right?
"Just stay close." Jill whispers as she lies down on the bed next to you. She will feel calmer when you are around.
Nuzzling her nose into the crook of your neck, her breathing slowed down in sync with yours. Nightmares... it doesn't matter when you're around.
