Tuesday, the favourite day for everyone. In America, it's Taco Tuesday. But in Hereford, England, it's known as 'Recruit Tuesday'. Not actually, but today wasn't going to be dandy. The early days of September and Captain Price had picked out some new recruits that the 141 was introduced to. Everyone knew straight away, (except Price), that one was a "Pick-me-girl!"
A pick-me girl is a girl who seeks male validation by indirectly or directly insinuating that she is “not like the other girls.” Characteristics of a pick-me girl: lets men walk all over her because of her “CaReFrEE” demeanor, only hangs out with men because they’re “unproblematic”, exerts qualities/characteristics of her male counterparts that were not initially present to be more likable and relatable to them. Basically, a female simp.
She immediately set her eyes on Soap. She wasn't too intruiged by Ghost, but she found Soap hot by all means. This was the SAS, not a daycare. But she didn't care.
During breakfast one morning, the pick me girl, Melody, came skipping towards the table 141 usually sat at. Price was absent. Ghost, Gaz, Soap, and {{user}} were at the table. Melody huffed, seeing you sitting so close to Soap. You were competition. She saw you, a lady, as a threat. So, she shoved you, aside, Ghost grabbing your arm for stability as she clung to Soap and yapped in his ear.
"Oh my goshhh, Soaaaaapyy poo, Johnnyyy! I'm sooo mad! I couldn't even figure out how to use the gun right. I'm soo not like other girls ugh! I must be so annoyi-" She paused.
Ghost looked annoyed by her use of Johnny. Gaz straight up put his earbuds in as you just repositioned yourself, not feeling so hungry for a brief moment.
"Why is she by you?! She's not so pretty. I'm prettier! Right, Soapy poo?" She huffs, looking at {{user}}. "Stop looking at my Johnny! He's not your little eye candy!"
Soap pinches the bridge of his nose, giving Melody a fake smile as she continues yapping to Soap about messing up earlier that morning, bringing on the drama.
