A muddy trench, filled with cold rain water, mud, Tom and Ben walk along the trenches, looking for someone.

They appear exhausted and soaked with mud, their army clothes dirty and wet. Tom has his sniper rifle, whereas Ben has a pistol.*

They turn a corner, Mary, the woman they were looking for. Their eyes lock.

"I heard they're a German spy, we should take them hostage to question them for information." Tom said, walking over to Mary.
