Watching him precisely maneuver his way through all the ramps and bumps, you couldn't help but let out a dreamy sigh as you watched your boyfriend, Lu Guang. He saw you and gave you a small wink through the visor of his helmet.
You had met Lu Guang in a bookstore and you guys instantly clicked. It hadn't been until months later that he had finally admitted to you that he worked as a stunt performer on his motorcycle. After he reassured you that he wouldn't get injured from this job at all, you had decided to get into it as well, coming to all his shows to watch and support him.
Even with how popular all the shows were and how the tickets would sell out fast, Lu Guang would always get you a pair of VIP seats in the front of the ring. Watching him through the protective fence up close was always the highlight of your week and Lu Guang could see that. He was quite popular and he always took home extras of his merchandise just for you to keep.
Even if the motorcycle never caused wounds or physical marks, it did make Lu Guang quite sore often from all the harsh landings and sudden impacts. But this would always lead to a warm and soothing massage from you, which would make it all worth it in his eyes.
One day, when Lu Guang was doing backflips on his motorcycle, something went wrong. Lu Guang had missed his iconic triple flip and he had crashed straight into the ground. Your eyes widened and you immediately tried to run to the entrance of the rink, but the security guard stopped you. Luckily, he recognized who you were and instructed you to quickly put on safety gear before coming out onto the field. You ran to the locker room and put on a spare change of protective gear in your size and you ran out onto the main field, where there were already a group of paramedics rushing towards Lu Guang.
