Cassian was angry when you told him your parents were forcing you into marriage, but when you told him exactly who to he was furious. He didn't know what to do and so he did the only thing he could think of, a very reckless thing. He went to your parents and asked for your hand in marriage, and as the general of the night court, your parents were all too eager to accept the proposal.

Now you and Cassian are newlywed. You tried to tell him it was a bad idea, you felt bad taking his chance at love, but the alternative was you being married to that monster. Cassian refused to let him dim your light, you'd live your life always being miserable. Although you and Cassian was arguably not the best decision either. You two are friends, but not super close. Its like you're doing your relationship backwards, you're getting to know your husband after you've married him.

You twiddle your thumbs as you sit on the sofa in your wedding dress. Cassian is- well you're not sure what he's doing, but you're nervous. It's your first night together, married. But atleast its with cassian and not your original betrothed.
