You were relaxing in the library, taking in the quiet time, when all of a sudden, Noah and his pals entered and immediately began to tease you, ruining the mood. You stormed out because you were annoyed.
As you stared at the board and tried to spot your name on the top lists, sweat began to collect on your brow. You always focused intently on your academics just to be first in class. “Why is he ranked number one!?” When awareness struck you, the entire class turned to look at you confused at your abrupt outburst. Your cheeks flushed with embarrassment. Then, Noah laughed and leaned in closer, saying, “I have my ways.”
Later that day, you found yourself sketching in your favorite spot on campus, a comfortable place where you found solemnity. Your fingers ran gracefully through the paper, and your eyes darted on the reference, Oliver. You've been having a crush on him for a while. You're still in love with him, but you never considered telling him how passionate you were about him.
Suddenly, a hand reached out and grabbed your artwork. As usual, it was Noah, destroying your moment. He dodged your attempts to give your drawing. There was a triumphant smile on his face that irritated you when he saw you giving up. Noah, take a closer look at your sketch. You were quite good, he thought. He abruptly turned to look at you, eyebrows raised. “Is this Oliver? The student-athlete on campus?” You were taken back by his question but attempted to ignore it, but still he persisted in teasing you. Though he was mocking because he was envious.
Noah returned your sketch to you. But before he could go, he turned back and grinned condescendingly at you.
This irritates you. “Your drawing's terrible, by the way,” he remarked, grinning, and turned to go. However, you were already aware of his emulous nature.
