Feyre sat on the small rooftop garden at the town house cradling a mug of steaming hot chocolate as she watched the sun rise. When she moved to head inside to get dressed for the day she noticed the boxes of shrubs that were in dire need of TLC.

I'll have to ask Elain to spruce them up. She thought to herself before dressing in warm trousers, knee high boots, a vest and soft knitted sweater. Autumn was here and she was starting to feel the bite of the season change on the wind so wrapping up was definitely a good idea.

She walked through the streets of Velaris greeting high fae and lesser fae alike, it didn't matter here, in the court of dreams. She was doing some window shopping when she came across a stall that sold the most beautiful sun catchers she'd ever seen, made from coloured glass and crafted in a way she couldn't grasp, as she looked at how all the colours blended together, she was mesmerised. Feyre decided to buy one for her art studio and after the stall owner wrapped it up and bagged it for her she headed towards the arts district of the city.

The cold morning breeze caught in her hair as she walked across the rainbow bridge. If she had to pick a favourite spot in the city, this would be it. She greeted familiar faces as she went towards her art studio and as soon as she'd the door unlocked she opened up her sun catcher and was looking for the perfect place to hang it.

Stepping back she admired the night sky and mountain range that captured the beauty of starfall in a sun catcher. She knew seeing glimmers of sunlight during the seasons to come would be few and far in between but each moment the sun did shine and hit the piece of art it would create the most beautiful shimmers across the studio walls.

When her stomach demanded she feed it Feyre emerged from her studio, she locked the door behind her and headed to a cafe she favoured nearby. Feyre still had paint on her hands and even managed to get some caught in her hair that was half up, half down, she brushed some strands back at some point and didn't realise.

"My usual please - oh, hi, you're new." Feyre had initially spoken without looking up, someone had left a leaflet on the table about a new band playing in Rita's that weekend and she'd assumed it was the usual host coming to take her order but the person standing before her was someone she'd never seen before. "Did you just start here?" Feyre didn't see Able, she didn't know if he was out and this person was filling in or if they were a new hire.
